Easter Trail 2021
Time & Location
Join us for an Easter treasure hunt!
This year we've created for you a free, self-guided Easter Trail around Lauderdale House and Waterlow Park. An assortment of Easter animals, flowers and other items have been hidden and we need you to find them! We'll be providing a treasure map and a series of clues to help you out, and this will be available to download from this page on Good Friday, 2nd April. Hard copies will also be available on the day.
This event will be taking place on Sunday 4th April, 11am - 4:30pm. There will be a information table and marquee set up on the Tea Lawn at the back of the House. Here you can collect a hard copy of the treasure map. When you finish the trail, you should return to the table - there will be a small chocolate surprise for the first 100 people to complete it!
If you can't make it on Sunday, the trail will be left up until the park closes on Monday for you to complete at your leisure. However, prizes are only available during the event time as above.
The cafe will be open all day Sunday and Monday, from 9.30am - 6pm, with a range of Easter treats on offer.
This event will take place under Step 1 of the government guidelines. Outdoor gatherings of either 6 people (the Rule of 6) and 2 households are allowed. In line with this guidance, please help us to help you by following these instructions:
- Remain in your household or bubble whilst completing the trail.
- We have designed the trail so it can be completed in any order, so if you see one stop looking particularly busy, we advise you move on to the next and come back when there are less people.
- Please respect other park users.
- Please queue nicely when coming to the information table to collect a map copy or your prize.
! Although this is a free event, donations are extremely welcome and important forLauderdale House !
Anything you can give is hugely appreciated.
