Garden Explorers

We are excited to welcome back our youngest gardeners back to the farm. This 7 week activity is for people aged 2 and above and their grown ups to learn more about growing plants and where food comes from.

Incorporating all aspects of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Children will learn about gardening and growing fruit, vegetables, herbs and edible flowers in their own allotment in the community gardens at Kentish Town City Farm. Children will be sowing seeds, caring for them and watching these little seeds grow into giant plants to taste, eat and share. We will also explore the natural environment of the gardens and what lives in them.

The cost is £25 (£5 a week) for a family ticket (1-2 children and their carer). Any families who would like to gift a free space to a family who wouldn’t otherwise be able to come we are trialing a ‘pay it forward’ price of £50. This is completely optional.
