About
The Royal Academy of Arts is bringing together 300 of Pablo Picasso’s works, both on and with paper, this exhibition explores his entire prolific career.
Picasso used everything from café tablecloths and newspaper cuttings to antique papers with distinctive watermarks. He created sculptures with torn and burnt pieces of paper, assembled collages, worked with pastel, gouache and watercolour, and spent decades investigating printmaking techniques.Â
The tour involves discussion, drawing and sticking in our unique activity books designed especially for this exhibition.
Children will experiment with paper creating cut outs, collage and designing their own masterpieces.
For Who? Museum Trips are designed to be enjoyed by children 5-11 years old. We can not accept any younger children to participate in our events because the length of the tour and activities involved might not be suitable.
How? Museum Trips are designed for your child to participate independently and don't require parental supervision. Adults can arrange to visit the exhibition by booking their ticket directly from the museum.
