See below to check out our creative and fun summer workshops.Sessions for each day run from 11:00-13:00 & 14:00–16:00, and are suitable for age 5+.Please note, workshops must be pre-booked. These workshops usually get booked up quickly. If the workshop you’d like to attend is full, you can join the waiting list by emailing learning@foundlingmuseum.org.uk. Booking will open in June.26 July | Marvellous Marvel MeSelect a character from the exhibition and insert yourself into the story! Transform the scenes into a 3D mini stage and use your smartphone to direct and record your very own super short film, bringing to life your favourite superhero adventure. Led by the Tracing Our Tales Art Team.27 July | Make Your Own Comic BookCreate your own narrative inspired by the exhibition Superheroes, Orphans & Origins: 125 Years in Comics and join illustrator Julie Vermeille to design and make your very own comic book.28 July | Design Your own SuperheroIn this workshop artist Steve Marchant from the Cartoon Museum will teach you how to draw your favourite superheroes. Create your own costumed adventurer and dastardly villain, then insert your hero and villain into a Marvel-style front cover.29 July | 3D Character DesignJoin comic book artist Natasha Natarajan to bring your hero to life! Create a 2-dimensional character using drawing and collage, then bring it to life using clay in a 3D design. There is BSL interpretation for the 11:00 workshop.
