Our Local Farmers' Markets

Especially on a sunny day few things are more enjoyable than heading to your local food market with the kids.

Be it fresh fruit and veg, cheese, meat, seafood, bread, juices or delicious, freshly prepared grub -make sure you've got your sturdiest jute bag in tow and bring some for the children too!

It's a great way to get your children involved. A free place to come and experience so many different smells, tastes and sights. Talk to the farmers and sellers, learn where your food comes from, have a taste! Let the kids pick out something new to try, then they can help prepare a meal or snack.

Shopping at the market becomes an outing and an inspiration for the whole family.

Being engaged with your farmer/seller and other local shoppers also strengthens the community and the fresh foods you are purchasing from the market are packed with nutrients.
