The Academy School

The Academy School

Within our culture of mutual respect and equality, our aim is for our children to value themselves as the individuals they are. Happy, confident children, whose intellectual and emotional needs are met, are most likely to reach their full potential academically. Class sizes are small and flexibility in the timetable ensures a high degree of individual attention. In academic terms, the aims of the Academy are to provide a well-rounded education and take each child to their own maximum potential. The children are prepared for Entrance Examinations to independent schools at 11+, 12+ and 13+.The School actively promotes the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.

Admission procedures

We are very happy to welcome prospective parents at any time during the academic year and to show them around the school. Visits can be arranged by contacting our Admissions Department admissions@academyhampstead.com . After the visit, we will arrange for your child to spend around three hours at the school.  We do not set any formal entrance tests. The purpose of the visit is to assess the potential of your child and to ensure that your child will benefit from the education we have to offer.   The Academy School is committed to equal treatment for all, regardless of a child's race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or social background.
