This 2 hour workshop is designed to help 22wk+ Mamas and their birth partners learn to use the tools of yoga and massage in pregnancy and birth. The pregnant birth parent can greatly benefit from having a birth partner teammate who knows how to help them with the aches and pains of pregnancy, the challenge and focus needed for labour/childbirth, and the emotional and physical support postpartum. You'll each learn and practice breathing techniques, couples yoga postures, and massage, all with the aim to ease and relax into the birth process, from pregnancy to baby's arrival. No prior yoga experience necessary. This workshop is more about connecting to your partner and your baby, and all three (or four?) of you learning to physically and mentally navigate pregnancy, labour and birth together than it is about simply doing yoga.
All props provided. Please bring water and any snacks you need, something to take notes with, and wear comfortable, loose clothing. Book at:
