Christmas Singalong

This year, we're inviting you to join us for an outdoor Christmas singalong! It will be a wonderful opportunity to come along and sing a selection of your favourite Christmas songs and carols led by our fabulous cabaret artists Alison Guill and Jamie Anderson, with our resident pianist Stephen Hose on the keys. Be prepared:

This is an outdoor event. Chairs will be provided but it is your responsibility to wrap up warm. We encourage wearing lots of layers, or even bringing a blanket. We will go ahead even in the event of rain unless we deem it to be unsafe, so we recommend waterproofs, wellies and umbrellas if this is the case. Bring a lantern or torch along if you have one and help us light up the Tea Lawn!

Will the bar be open?

Yes, the bar will be open on the night for winter warmers and various snacks. These are also available to pre-order when you checkout your tickets. To help us manage queues and social distancing, we recommend ordering in advance if you can.

Are babies welcome?

We are happy for you to bring young ones but please note they will need to sit on your lap as it is not feasible to accommodate pushchairs. You do not need to purchase a ticket for children under 2 years old.

What if I don't know any songs?

If you book a ticket, we will send you a PDF of the song sheet a few days before the show, as well as uploading it here. If you can, please download the PDF and use your phone or tablet to read it, as this is more ecologically friendly and COVID secure. If you can't, not to worry, we will have hard copy quarantined carol sheets available at the box office to collect when you arrive.

Can I come on my own?

Yes! Everyone is welcome, whether alone or with family and friends. Please remember to keep a distance of 2 metres from other guests outside of your household or support bubble.

COVID-19 Precautions

The box office/entry point will be in a gazebo to the left of the House as you approach from Highgate Hill. Please queue at a distance. On arrival everyone will have their temperature checked and will be asked to use hand sanitiser. Anyone with a high temperature will not be admitted along with anyone in their household or 'bubble'. Once through the box office you will asked to walk along the side terrace and wait at the end of the house to be seated by our stewards and volunteers. We have contact details of the lead ticketholder for Test & Trace via the Box Office. As lead ticketholder you are responsible for knowing who from your group attends. If for any reason you cannot attend please let us know who is attending in your place. We will have the NHS QR code available at the box office to scan for extra safety.

Please help us to help you by following these instructions:

•    If you are displaying any of the symptoms of Covid-19 do not come to the show - please stay home in line with Government Guidelines. Check for Covid-19 symptoms HERE. •    Wherever possible please stay 2 metres from people outside your household or support bubble. •    The toilets will be available but please follow the instructions in relation to keeping a distance when/if queuing and follow good hygiene and hand washing regimes. Soap and disinfectant sprays are available for your use. Be careful and considerate. •    Please arrive in good time. The Box office will open at 4.30pm for the 5pm show and 6:30pm for the 7pm. •    Getting everyone settled will take longer than usual so please be patient – we promise not to start till everyone is in and comfortable.
