Santa’s arrived early to London Zoo to do some research on what the animals would like for Christmas. But he’ll need your help, because with over 20,000 animals there’s far too much for just him and his elves to manage. Head out across the Zoo gathering information along the way, before reporting back to Mrs Claus in the polar post room, sending off your trail card to Santa and helping to make sure all the animals get the perfect present this Christmas!

Little ones can join in festive crafts before meeting Santa in his magical grotto at the heart of the Zoo and receive a special early Christmas gift to take home.

All Meet Santa and Meet Santa animal gift-giving dates have now sold out. Apologies for any inconvenience.

For an extra special treat, our elves will sneak you into the Zoo at 8am before opening for a VIP Breakfast with Mrs Claus before meeting the man himself!

Everything we’ve planned this Christmas is carefully designed so that you and your family can relax and enjoy a fun day out safely. We’re proud to have achieved ‘Good to Go’ status.

Important information

Members, Fellows and Patrons will be granted Zoo entry on arrival simply by showing their membership card. Child members wanting to see Santa will need a Meet Santa ticket. Membership alone only provides access to the Zoo.

All other visitors, including Under 3s and any non-members accompanying members, will need a valid Zoo ticket in addition to any Meet Santa ticket in order to enter the Zoo. The Meet Santa ticket alone does not include Zoo admission.

For Meet Santa a maximum of 3 children can be added per booking onto a single time slot. If you require more than 3 Meet Santa tickets, you will need to book more than one slot to allow everyone to have enough time with Santa. You can either make separate bookings online or call Supporter Contact on 0344 225 1826. If two slots are booked within the same session time, you can all still enter the grotto together.
