Storytelling: London Folk Tales for Children

London is a place full of stories. Stories of all the different people who live here, but London itself has a story to tell… Join in storytellers/writers Sef Townsend and Anne Johnson for a special storytelling session.

FAMILY WORKSHOPS:

Paper Pirate Theatre Workshop

Monday 18 – Friday 22 February, 10.40, 12.30 & 14.40 (80 mins)

£7, for ages 4+

Turn yourselves into paper pirate puppets. Work with illustrator Amy Brown to create a paper theatre with your family as the pirate dream team.

Captain’s Logbook in a Box Workshop

Monday 18, Thursday 21 & Friday 22 February, 10.40, 12.30 & 14.40 (80 mins)

£7, for ages 8+

Create your own logbook in a box to keep, filled with bits and bobs a pirate might need on an adventure. A creative ‘book in a box’ making workshop with artist Helen Rousseau.

Wanted Pirate Poster Workshop

Tuesday 19 & Wednesday 20 February, 10.40, 12.30 & 14.40 (80 mins)

£7, for ages 8+

What mischief has your pirate got up to? Print a ‘wanted’ poster for your pirate character with maker Sarah Dhanjal. A mix of character making and printing activities.
