Half-Term Workshops at The Foundling Museum

Discover what family-friendly workshops we've got on during the upcoming half-term!

Booking is essential and tickets include free entry to the Museum. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Entry for the accompanying adult is free. Admission for additional adults is charged.Free golden tickets are available for local residents, families in receipt of Pension Credit, Universal Credit, Income Support, Disability Living Allowance and Job Seekers Allowance.

25 October | A Monument to The Future 11am-1pm & 2pm-4pm What makes you and your family unique? Come together to build a giant cardboard sculpture and celebrate different kinds of families in this playful workshop led by artist Laura X Carle. This workshop is recommended for children aged 5-8, but is open to all.

26 October | Animation Time Machine 11am-1pm & 2pm-4pm Calling all time travellers! Take a trip to the future and create your very own animated time machine in this imaginative workshop with artist Reza Ben Gajra. This workshop is recommended for children aged 9-12, but is open to all.

27 October | Fantasy Museum 11am-1pm & 2pm-4pm If you could design a museum for the future, what would it look like? Join artist Anne Harild to build a fantasy museum inspired by our exhibition Tiny Traces. This workshop is recommended for children aged 7-10, but is open to all.

28 October | Spooky Halloween Lanterns 11am-1pm & 2pm-4pm Get into the Halloween spirit by making a lantern, then illuminate the room with your spooky creation! Led by illustrator Salvatore Rubbino. This workshop is recommended for children aged 7-10, but is open to all.
