About

Make a scary tote bag

10:30-12:30 for 5–9-year-olds, 13:30-15:30 for 10-13-year-olds | Free, but tickets must be booked in advance

Make a scary tote bag in this Halloween workshop inspired by Sports Banger’s bootleg t-shirts. Design a silhouette of a scary grinning pumpkin, a creepy skeleton or a sinister black cat, then use heat transfers to stick it onto your tote bag. Scare your friends at Halloween with this bag, designed and made by you!

All workshops must be booked in advance by emailing learning@foundlingmuseum.org.uk. Please confirm the following details when booking:

  • Title & time of workshop
  • Number of children and adults in your group, including names
  • Contact telephone number

Tables will be organised in family or friendship bubbles, with up to 6 people at one table. If you wish to book as a group (ie. more than one family), please make this clear when contacting us so we can allocate tables accordingly. To comply with social distancing, tables will not be able to mix and will be spaced apart. The artists leading the workshops will also respect the social distancing guidelines.

Essential information

Face coverings must be worn on arrival and when moving through the exhibition as part of the workshops, but are not required when seated at tables during the activities.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the workshop to enable staff to safely escort you to your table and ensure the workshop starts promptly. Please be mindful of social distancing when queuing.

We advise wearing warm clothes as the windows will be open.
