What’s life in the lab really like? Bring your curiosity and have a chat with some of the friendly scientists at The Crick. Discover what life in the lab is like and get hands-on with some of the tools they use in their daily work.

Each week, there will be a different scientist ready to answer your burning questions – here’s what you can expect during January’s sessions.

Fri 10 January (12.30pm-2.30pm) Meet genomics scientist, Jimmy Perez-Lloret, who converts DNA into libraries that become readable information for all teams across the Crick and cell biologist, Lyn Healy, who grows and cares for stem cells.

Wed 15 January (5pm-7pm) This week’s specialists are database administrator, Jackie Goldman, who builds databases to support work across the building and cell biologist, Imke Ensinck, who uses yeast to learn how cells make decisions.
