About
Come along to the Old Kitchen at Kenwood House for this family-friendly ‘drop-in’ event. Meet and chat with Historic England and English Heritage research staff and doctoral students from partner universities to discover how new knowledge ‘breakthroughs’ inform our work to protect, interpret and help people enjoy the historic environment.
The banner exhibition and interactive family friendly table-top activities (suitable for age 8+) will run from 10:00-15:00 (no booking required). Visitors will be invited to ask questions and share their thoughts on research spanning the English medieval glass industry to graffiti at heritage sites and managing coastal change.
Come by later from 15:30-17:00 to hear more about this work through a series of 5 minute "Lightning Talks" to a seated audience (pre-booking required) with the opportunity for Q&A. Following the event, audio recordings of the talks will be available via the Historic England website.
