Squirrel, Badger, Owl and Rabbit all live in homes in the forest. They would love to meet you!
Come along to help build their homes and listen to a different story each week. The Story Den is a storytelling and play session for children. Using our den making kit, children will become little-architects, meeting one of our adorable woodland characters and helping to build a home for them. There’ll be songs, magical lights and lots of sensory objects to play with along the way.
The story lasts around half an hour, with another half an hour for free play in the den. The Story Den is recommended for children aged 2 to 5, but do be in touch if you’d like to bring a younger child along.
Places are free but booking is advised to avoid disappointment on the day. You are also welcome to drop-in on the day but please be advised that if the session is full you may not be able to participate. There are places for up to six children and accompanying adults per session; please note that adults may not all be able to join the children inside the den at one time, but everyone is welcome to participate in the session.
