About

TKT Nature Connections Autumn Tree Walk around Parliament Hill Fields with Heath Hands,

rescheduled to Saturday 15th October 2.30 - 4.30pm.

Meet at the Bandstand next to Parliament Hill Cafe at 2.20 for 2.30pm start.

TKT Nature Connections and Heath Hands invite you to join a sociable walk around Parliament Hill Fields, to connect with the energies and rhythms of Autumn, and share gratitude with our local trees for all they give to us through the changing seasons. Trees are the great experts on embracing change as they let go of the tired leaves of summer – and make a big ‘autumn glory’ celebration of it too. During our walk we'll:

learn to identify our local trees and understand the life-cycle changes they are going through as Autumn brings cooler days and longer nights;

express our gratitude for all they've shared with us during spring and summer - the joy and hope of their unfurling leaves in early spring, their cooling shade on blazing summer days, and right now, their wild harvest of berries, nuts and seeds.

- ask how we can support our local trees in this time of growing climate and environmental crisis;

- and how we can learn from them about tuning our own lives more closely to Nature's seasons - and the benefits to our well-being and how we live our lives that this can bring us.

- and share some fun and soulful ways - including poetry, tree folklore and a short Autumn tree meditation - to celebrate our kinship with our local trees and to honour the turning of the year.

This is a FREE event, but we ask you to book your place through Eventbrite - and look forward to spending time together among the trees..
